new jarvis cocker album art

I like it.. has a very pulp like feel to it (maybe its because of the blown out colours similiar to his and hers?)

the tracks we heard back in Nov were GREAT.. i hope he does another tour, Ill be there with bells on.

May 18th is the release date on Rough Trade and is produced by Steve Albini – which one assumes this record will have a heavier sound..

ooh and according to this link, there ARE tour dates out there:

Jarvis Cocker continues to establish his position as cultural attaché for Great Britain with his second solo album, Further Complications, due for release on Rough Trade on May 18. This time he’s opted for the legendary/infamous Steve Albini to ‘record’ the LP, which presumably suggests a more ballsy rock sound than the classic Scott Walker pop of his first, Jarvis.

The album will feature tracks debuted on last year’s tour, and Jarvis is out on the road again for a few select dates.

Blackpool Empress Ballroom (June 10)
Glasgow ABC (12)
Brighton Dome (16)
London Troxy (17)
