since my webspace has been down, the few moments ive had lately to blog, well i couldnt do it. there will be a full detailed write up of 27/01/2009 – a day that shall remain as one of my greatest. i promise.

i just wanted to make a brief message about jon knights supposed ex and him selling his story to the national enquirer. fuck off. how DARE you say you two remained friendly and sell him out like THAT. Was the $8,000 worth it? really? nice to know thats HOW MUCH jon was worth to you.

so apparently Mr Wahlberg announced last night at the O2 show that he will ’see us next fall’ (er thats autumn Donnie!! )

hahaha. omg this means saving up for 5* for Manchester (booo to Sheffield selling sooo poorly!!) and yeah.. that would be soooooo awesome if the guys make their way back here for a second time…

i soooo hope this is true. Ill be happy as a clam after tuesday night, but if they can come back for more, i will gladly take a second and third helpings! come back guys!!!

New Kids Announce Plans to Perform – on a Cruise!

Call them New Kids on the Boat. In this exclusive video for People.com, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and Jonathan and Jordan Knight announce their plans to hit the high seas for a concert cruise from May 15-18.

Traveling from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. to the Bahamas, NKOTB will entertain fans on board with special performances and meet and greets. Jokes McIntyre: “We’re not going to be drinking pina coladas, we’ll be serving them!”

Im not going. I cant afford it plus we’ll be in the states at that time anyways and Mike would kill me if I dragged him to this. hahah I wonder if theyre going to have hubby day care?!?!

is this REALLY happening? i mean in 16 days time I will be oogling at a Mr Joseph Mulrey McIntyre and dying from being in their presence. Okay maybe not dying but giggling and just being retarded. I still cant believe Im sitting thrid row let alone comprehending the fact that i am actually meeting them!!!! omg!!

Im so excited im having dreams about them (one where I was ’stalking’  – for a lack of a better term – Donnie and Joe was around I didnt want anything to do with him!! OMG! Thats just awful.. EEK) and thinking about them more than I really should do.. but its not getting unhealthy yet. Unhealthy would have been 13 yr old Kerri not 31 almost 32 ( )  Kerri. Its very strange and surreal and Im excited as hell.

Manchester kicks the EU tour off in 6 days. Support has been confirmed – its a singer names Shontelle – so its just all waiting on confirmation of the B stage and then its just counting the DAYS (!!) down to seeing the guys in the flesh. As Penny Lane said in Almost Famous – ITS ALL HAPPENING!!! wooooooooooo.

Cant wait!!!

Also it appears the rumours about ’saving the date’ being for a cruise are getting closer and closer to being true. Apparently a tour group who handle a lot of cruises with stars have booked out one of Carnivals ships (cancelling somones wedding in the process ) for that weekend. Only time will tell to see what is actually happening… till then stay tuned.

Oh one more thing, Jon blogged and said they had a ‘2 in the morning’ video shoot yesterday and the guys were starting to head off to us in the UK. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Theyre also appearing on the national lottery draw on wednesday night at 10 on BBC1.. oooh cant wait!!! must set sky+ to record it!! I wonder what the video will be like? 5 different lovers quarrels? or what?! ahhhh soooooooo anxious!!!!$£”!£$

Rumors are ripe with cruises (similar to ‘Jam Cruise‘ & ‘DMB Cruise‘), special gigs, conventions – though the cruise idea is the most popular its also the most expenisve figuring to run about $1k per person for 3 days…. eek!!!

Knowing our luck, it will be the annoucement of US Summer dates – which well already know because were THAT good.

ive been helping out with the parking situattion at work – even though i dont drive – because people would moan about it and then not do anything. i hate that, why whinge and then do nothing about it? anyways, i took it on so people would stop ‘passing the buck’ in a way.  all it cost me was using a connection or two i had at work to talk to a local councilman and a few hours of emailing my floor – not even the whole building – to put a small plan in place. all i gathered was a little bit of data (< 50 or so people responded to my intial email), put it in a spreadsheet and passed it along when the parking scheme went under review in late September.

nothings been set in place yet, but the council, theyre actually LISTENING and taking on board all the information i gathered to help put a plan in place. In fact the plan theyve almost agreed to is the one i came up with just looking at the situation from being on the outside.  its weird, because the council asked why no one has brought the issue to anyones attention until now – when the scheme was under review – and not before it was put into place in Oct 2007. apparently no one objected at the hearings held nor was the issue discussed at work. its great this is actually happening because people always moan that councils dont listen to their residents. well apparently this one is listening to me.

anyways, it feels good doing something to help make my town a better place to live and where i work a better place to be. its just a shame it took this long to sort it out, when it really didnt take THAT much effort in the first place. i jut wish i could say EXACTLY what was happening, but cant until meetings take place in late January. ahhhhhhh
